By me being a truck driver, Do I have an advantage over some people for a conductors position for any Railroad?

Best Answer:

bobby: Possibly. Being a truck driver, they might figure you at least know how to stay awake on the job. Remaining alert is one of the toughest parts of the job. You might go for miles with nothing to do but watch the scenery pass by outside. It's not as bad for an engineer because at least he's doing things over there to control the train. They will also know that as a driver you are used to working by yourself without supervision.
