Can I hook a cb radio amp to a aux port to power it?

Other answer:

Justin:
AUX ports provide NO power. They are a sound input for the stereo. If you want to play the CB's sound through the AUX port, connect a TRS patch cord from the audio out of the CB to the AUX port. What do you mean, CB radio amp? You are not a licensed radio technician, so if you're talking about a linear RF amp, forget it.

Your best bet is to hook it up directly to the battery. Install an in-line fuse as well. Alternate would be to use your 12V outlet to power it. The Aux port will not have enough power.

Maybe. Your CB radio uses 12 volts. If the aux port you're referring to is one like for a cigarette lighter, then yes. If you're referring to a "USB" type aux port, those only supply 4.5 to 5 volts, then no.
