Do u prefer Honda or Yamaha? And why?

All the Japanese mfgrs are very good. Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha. I used to think Honda had the best reliability/longevity, and I've had a few Hondas and I've loved them. But I read just recently that Honda came in THIRD in a study, after Yamaha and Suzuki. Yamaha was no. 1. I'm surprised. I don't think I've ever ridden a Yamaha, but I might consider one next time.

But really, apart from brand loyalty, all the Japanese brands are very good. You'd be happy with any of them.

Both make great bikes, and both make some models that appeal to me. Currently I do not own a Honda, though I started riding on a CB400, a Honda. However, I do own 2 Yamahas currently, one of them is my favorite of my current bikes, it is also the oldest. So, I prefer Yamaha.
Why? Hard to pin down, why. I just fell in love with one back in 1986, and I LOVE that bike the most, ride it nearly every day and have the absolute most fun on it of all my bikes.

Of the top 4 Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, doesn't really matter to me – they are all well made motorcycles – with Suzuki probably lagging a little bit behind – but not a worrisome amount.

Yamaha is the best in terms of design and performance. I myself own a Yamaha.
Sam:
Been riding/racing Yamaha since '74, owned other Makes but since Yamaha provided a sponsorship for my racing you can guess.

Honda forever. Honda small engines are the best in class reliability , they run till your wheels fall off.
Even a 100cc honda is fun to ride and gives best fuel mileage.
