How do you bypass the crankshaft position sensor on a 1998 Honda Civic?

Other answer:

Tracey Rineheart Bryant:
You could unplug the wires. If you want to permanently disable the crankshaft position sensor and the vehicle, cut the wires.
That sensor determines the engine timing. Without it working the engine will never run properly. You don't "bypass" it, you replace it with a working one.
DR + Mrs Bears face:
Hi so as it controls the ignition timing that would not be a good idea.

You cant if you want the car to run.
