How much is insurance for 125cc?

Now I understand that I can go get a quote BUT what I want to know is a ballpark – i.e. how much is motorcycle insurane per annum for a 125cc?
Should I factor like roughly a few hundred £ per year or are we talking like a few thousand £ a week.
I have absolutely no idea what to expact and I don t fancy shlepping

I have absolutely no idea what to expact and I don t fancy shlepping all that personal info on a random comparison weniste just to get a feel for the world.
Can anyone help and tell me like "dude it ll be between £50-£1000" or "don;t even go there, it will be closer to £25K every two and a half weeks"
Thanks! ^_^
*website – I have no idea what a " weniste" is – sorry 😛

Other answer:

radaemon:
There is no ballpark.

Postcode, garaged/not garaged, age (yours and the bike), licence, model of bike, comprehensive or third party?

All make a difference to a quote. Just go on a site, it might be a pain, but it will be the only way.

It will be between £50-£1000 – not very helpful huh?

Timbo is here:
It will definitely not be as low as £50
£1000 a year is typical but could be from £600 to £1200

Why not? That's how I've got the best deals on my motorcycle insurance for years.

Insurance premiums are based on around 50 different factors, any one of which can affect the cost dramatically. As you can see from previous answers, it could be anywhere between a few hundred pounds and a few thousand. Does that help you at all?

Ron:
$100 a year for liability only. More for comprehensive insurance.
