How safe are late night trains?

Going on a train around 10 – 12 wenesday night.

From Birmingham new street to Redditch via midland green trains

I'll be on my own.

How safe am I? Will there be a security guard or any train reps around

Other answer:

Easy E:
Can't speak for the Birmingham area, but I imagine that the late night trains are just as busy as they are in London. I drove trains into and out of one of the busiest London terminals at all times of the day and night for twenty years, and I never had an incident where a passenger on my train was attacked or robbed.

Avoid people in New Street, near the junction with Ethel Street, who offer you a free "stress test" as they are trying to recruit you into the Church of Scientology….

You should just be fine. There are conductors and cameras on the train to reduce the number of incidents.
