I am scared of take-offs in planes. Any help?

I'm not scared of it flipping over or it crashing. I'm just afraid of the angle of the airplane. I don't want it to be facing up so much.

Think of it this way.

When the plane is taking off and pointing upwards, it's going AWAY from the ground. This is a lot safer than heading towards the ground right?

Sorry if I've now made you nervous about landings….

Brandon:
That you can choose to do the train or car to replace the plane transport
Zack:
You don't really notice the angle of the plane when it takes off.

Also, have you ever been on a roller coaster? Roller coasters are usually at higher angles than planes when the coaster goes up the big hill.

Do you ever lay on your back in bed? That's facing up more than you do in a plane.

You would much rather it be facing up on take-off than down. But I can understand it. I have always been a bit unsettled on take-offs but once you re up it s no problem. Flying is one of the greatest, if not the greatest invention of mankind.
