What are some ways I can get insurance without a license . Please help I feel screwed.
Lia: Find a driving school in your area. You can use their car. The driving school lets you use their car for the driving test. And, the driving school has auto insurance that you are allowed to use as part of the cost of using their car.
No, you have two problems, not only one.
Your first problem is that it takes a lot of practice to pass the test. To practice, you need a permit, a car with insurance, and a person who already has a license to sit with you in the car when you practice (because you are not allowed to drive alone without a license).
Ok so. First, just borrow a insured car for your test.
Ok so, Second, we insure cars not drivers.
Ok so, Third, you would;d need to have a car to be able to insure a car
Ok so, Fourth, You don't need a permit or a license to insure a vehicle
Ok so, all you need is to have an "insurable interest" in the vehicle that you want insured.
NOT a member of the "Ok so" generation :>(
You mean you don't know anyone anywhere who has an insured vehicle?
It doesn't need to be your car. It doesn't even need to be a family member's car. If it's a car that is legal for the road (not just insurance, there's a list of requirements) and you have the owner's permission to drive it, that's all you need.
call Geico. Explain your situation, they should be able to put insurance on your parents car in your name since you have a learners permit. That will get you the car you need for your road test.
You can use ANY properly licensed and insured car to take your test. I hope you have friends.
Contact a driving school in your area. They can provide a vehicle and take you to take your test, and it should not be that expensive
Take fire's advice, thats how I did it.
