I'm 15 and my left eye is -1 and right eye is -1.25, doctor said I should wear my glasses when on iPad or watching t.v but my parents…?

But my parents say I don't need them that much since it's minor and my I want to be a fighter pilot (RAAF), any tips?

My tip is "forget about it".
There are WAY more candidates than seats to a fighter pilot, which allows the military the luxury of being extra picky.
In fact, even if you could have properly corrected vision, they will use this as an EXCUSE to reduce the rank of candidates, so that less tests will be required to find the ones they will retain.
Michael:
If your optometrist (eye doctor) says you should where glasses you probably should. If you want to be in the Royal Australian Air Force you should see if there are any cadet groups in your local area
Been2Juvy:
In the US, you can become a military pilot with those eyes because they require more pilots but in Australia, it is very competitive and hard.

why not check with the raaf directly?
