I have had my driving license for almost 6 years, I have never felt this way nor had any trouble. Whilst driving i am looking straight and no where else, i end up loosing my concentration and my eyes only drag me into straight without looking anywhere else on the road. I concentrate looking down the road not straight sometimes and if i am driving and i hear a sound, i would go back to same spot and double check that there was no one there. If i am trying to turn left or right, i would stop in the middle of the road and go back and check to make sure that no one was hit behind me as i was turning. I would drive and hear some sounds like banging, i would go back to same spot and check to see there was no one hit. And why im i driving with eyes down on the road rather than straight? Constantly searching on the road looking down rayher than up and straight and search the road. Whats going on with me ? Where can i get help

Look at getting some advanced driving lessons.
You eyes should be constantly checking your mirrors and looking at the sides to spot potential hazards.
With advanced driving you have to give a cometary on what is happening. This includes what is behind you. It teaches you to look in the right places as your instructor will give feedback.

You are lucky you haven't crashed before. Looking only straight ahead will kill you.

My eyes are moving constantly; ahead as far as I can see, checking the mirrors every five seconds to keep track of people behind and to the sides for any incoming. No one has managed to hit me yet, since 1962.

Driving is visual……look well ahead UP your intended path…..everyone's eyes fall down on occasion so you must remain vigilant and aware and develop your peripheral vision in order to see signs and hazards ahead.
