Is there a train that goes straight from slough to newquay?

i tried using google maps but it just confused me >_<
and i also tried to look on thetrainline.com but it doesn't show the train journey or tell me if there are stops or if i need to change trains at some point etc

Best Answer:

sana: National Rail (http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ ) is usually the best site to go to for UK train journeys, although that route is all within the First Great Western network so you could also try their website (http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/ ).

From Slough to Newquay the National Rail website shows two changes. Clicking on "Details" brings up the following additional information:
– Slough to Reading (on the First Great Western service from London Paddington to Oxford)
– Reading to Par (on the First Great Western service from London Paddington to Penzance)
– Par to Newquay (on the First Great Western service from Par to Newquay)

As Neil says. For the lowest price tickets book well in advance for specifically timed trains

Hi taunton is the most likely place for a change of trains.
Who:
there is 1 train from reading

reading – depart 35 direct to newquay – arrive 1420

otherwise you ALWAYS change at PAR
