Unfortuanelty I have to use the dodgy and unprofessional public transport system of Sydney almost on a daily basis. Recently I boarded a bus that was driven by a bus driver that I would compare to a mad man. I have spina bifida occulta which causes me to walk slow and make my reflexes slow as well.
Anyway about this bus driver he was a problem from the start I walked on the bus slow because of the steps on the bus I used the hand rail to get on more faster. He said if i could hurry up as he claimed I was holding the bus up. But I was'nt as an elderly lady told me to take my time. When i gave my fare to the driver he was taking his time to give my change and purposely missed my hand when he gave me my change which caused me to pick it up from the floor. He than drove off erraticly before I even took a seat in the seating area for prams, the elderly and disabled people which caused me to stumble back.

He gave me stares throughout the bus ride I saw him in the mirror the whole time. When i pressed the button to signal my stop was coming up. He came to the stop but was jerking the bus with the brake to make me kind of lose my balance and when i finally came off the bus ride from hell I heard him mumble something. I didnt do anything to provoke the man. He was rude for no reason i didnt want to waste my time causing a scene on the bus i kind of shrugged it off but i now realise that this man cant be driving buses if he is going to act up like a fool.

Best Answer:

?: You should definitely report this, bus drivers, well anybody who's a public transportation driver shouldn't treat someone differently due to a disability. he could've seriously hurt you if you had fallen and hit your head or something like that. then he would've had a real lawsuit on his hands. yeah you may walk slow and move slow, but thats not reason for him to get away with something like this, that is disability abuse.

Other answer:

?:
You should call the bus company, town hall, or even the police. Tell them the bus driver's name. If you don't have the name tell them the time, date, route, and bus number. If you don't have the number the bus should be good enough.
Ricki:
File a complaint with the public transit authority, give them the time and the route so it's clear who you are complaining about.
Ron:
Of course you should report him.
