Can I tell him not to park there? or he has the right to park there?
Country Australia. Before his rent, we did not say we will give a garage parking spot, and we will provide with street parking only.

Depends on your country, in the US the landlord is not required to provide housing for your car AKA a garage. When you sign a lease contract you are signing for what is there, not what you think should be there or you think you should have. The responsibilities of the landlord are to maintain the property and houses on it and fix any problems with the land such as plumbing, electrical (breakers and outlets etc… not your tv and gaming systems.) Essentially it comes down to this. If whatever has broken was there before you moved in and is not a furnishing, then the landlord has to fix it. That's the responsibilities of the landlord.

If the garage is yours to use then he can't park there, but if not,it seems it is a free for all
