Today I raced my friend in my stock 370z and beat beat his 5.7 liter V8, after I won he seemed kinda upset so then he told me to race him in my 350z Witch my 350z has a turbo kit in it pulling 523HP so then he decides to use his dad's challenger and I beat him again, but this time I won in my old 350z. After all is said and done he said I cheated off the line and he doesn't wanna talk to me until I can race fairly.

Before he drove off I told him, V8s doesn't always mean faster it just means more powerful in some cases, then he shot me a bird.

Do you guys agree V8s are not always faster?

JDM CULTURE:
V8's are actually quite slow. They don't move at all. If they are installed in a car then that changes everything – it would depend on the car. Since you claim to have both a 370z and a 350z "witch" has a turbocharger but failed to mention what your fictitious friend was driving, I call BS to the whole post. Why would anyone own both a 350 and 370z? Troll
oil field trash:
In general terms it is all about power to weight ratio. The number of cylinders and even the displacement are not always measures of a vehicles acceleration or speed. Even horsepower may not be enough if the car weights too much. In drag races gearing can also make a difference.

Back in the 80's I was a Saab mechanic…..I had a buddy, who always said. "Theres no substitute for cubic inches"…..Then one day as I was test driving a new Saab 9000, I pulled up next to him in his souped up Camaro, at a stop light. When the light changed, we hit it off…..When he finally caught up to me at the next light, I asked him,"Whats it like to get your *** kicked by a 4 door family sedan"?
Then I said, "there is a substitute for cubic inches"…..They call it Turbo Boost !!! He had no answer….LOL
Windowphobe:
Of course it's small. That's why they compare them all the time.
Apple:
I understood none of that but if you and your friend are arguing about something that small, you should get new friends
