Why am I so bad at driving? What can I do to improve?

I'm 14 and 10 months and my mom made me take drivers ed because she is fed up with driving me to the bus every day. So I have been in the class for about 2 weeks now and I have had 2 driving lessons. I'm the worst one in my class I can't make turns without nearly hitting a curve, a car , etc. My

My instructors think I'm not listening but I just can't do it. This is a major problem with the area I live in because we rarely have a straight road. (We have so many lakes our roads are majorly curved). I have trouble controlling the break and gas, I can never stay in my lane, or stop when I'm suppose to. I struggle with turning my turn signal, I always turn on the high beams.

They want me to practice at home but I can't. My mom works all day every day and my state only allows you to drive with parents on the pink permit. I can't wait any longer to take drivers ed because my mom refuses to drive me anywhere and is to her wits end with driving me to the bus stop and drivers ed.
They want me to schedule a day lesson but I can't do that either because my mom works until late at night. She usually pays people to take me to drivers ed.

Public transportation is not an option, I don't like in a big city. I live in Michigan, everybody travels by car here. Nothing is in walking distance.

That is a tough one. I started teaching my kids to drive when they were about 5 years old. My daughter took driver's ed because people lied to us and said that it would lower the insurance. It did not. Neither of the boys took driver's ed because it was an un-need cost of about $250. My kids started driving to school when they were 14 and didn't have any problems. Perhaps it is the vehicle you are driving. The two oldest kids drove quad cab pickups and the youngest drove an SUV.

Where can you take driver's ed at 14? There is a lot of mental development between 14 and 16; perhaps you just aren't mentally mature enough. Give it more time.
I dont know what to name myself:
you have to become the vehicle, instead of just the person operating it. The steering wheel is an extension of yourself. Gas and brakes should be applied smoothly and evenly. You have to be in somewhat of a relaxed state to drive properly.

Also 14 is probably too young to be driving on the road. Just sayin.

I got better by practicing it just take time dude you get there

Sorry, there is no magic pill to drive better……You just need more practice, which will build your confidence.
