It's a 2011 Aveo with almost 90,000 miles on it. I bought it used with almost 62,000 3 years ago in September. I always change my oil and never let the gas go much under a half.
Just won't be able to get another car for a couple years you think it will be ok?
Had a few small issues but mainly all good
Grandpa Jack: Yes it will likely last at least a few more years. At 12K miles a year, it might last another 5 years or more without any major needs, just routine upkeep. And no, you're not extending the car's life or doing anything else beneficial by worrying about keeping the gas tank at least half-full all the time. Life's a lot easier when you stop stressing over things that don't matter – no need to stress over the fuel level. Don't run it completely empty and it'll be just fine.
yeah it shall likely last at least a few more years… at 12k miles a year, it might last another 5 years or more without any major needs, just routine upkeep… and no, you're not extending the car's life or doing anything else beneficial by worrying about keeping the gas tank at least half-full all the time… life's a lot easier when you stop stressing over things that don't matter – no need to stress over the fuel level… don't run it completely empty and it'll be just fine…
Yes, but to spend some money on a car should be expected, car wear out. But if you treat them in a gentle manner from braking to changing gears closing doors, then nothing breaks , they last for years.
I'm driving a 1989 Chrysler 5th Avenue and I plan on driving it a few more years.
Well you are taking care of it, keep doing that, you don't put excessive miles on it and you may well make it. Good luck. My truck has 142,000, and I am looking for a few more years too.
if you maintain it and keep up with the regular maintenance it should last you well over 150 k miles. don't mean nothing will go wrong with it. you can never tell when a sensor or a water pump might go out on it. but you shouldn't have to worry to much about having any major issue with it.
Well these don't have a very good reputation for durability (basically it's a Daewoo) so I wouldn't be too optimistic.
If I tell you it will go another 100,000 miles and it breaks before then, will you sue me? The car will last as long as it lasts. My guess would be as accurate as the seven day weather forecast.
You seem to have a lot of various cars, none of which run properly…Troll rant questions are not valid here on Yahoo Answers.
I would suggest you take all of your poorly performing vehicles to a reputable auto mechanic, as you see to have a lot of issues and do not seem to do very well trying to repair them yourself.
Those things shake and rattle, all the bolts come loose over time but they tend to run to 150k if maintained.
